Ultrasound scanner with color flow mapping
The Easi-Scan:Go integrates seamlessly with the modern farm. It is a wireless, app-based scanner that simultaneously presents the ultrasound image on up to three smart devices or BUG:Go (visor).
Fast, light and with minimal set-up time required, the Easi-Scan:Go provides speedy results without sacrificing accuracy. Biosecurity is not an issue, as the scanner is waterproof and completely sealed. This contributes to an even more efficient workflow on the farm.
The Easi-Scan:Go features:
- a fully sealed unit ensuring waterproof to IP67 standard;
- exceptional image quality, allowing for complete fertility examinations, as well as nonreproductive applications such as teat scanning, lung scanning, uterine scanning, postcalving examinations and body condition assessment;
Color flow Doppler mapping capability allows the user to confirm a negative pregnancy at 18 days postbreeding by examining blood flow in the corpus luteum.
Bovintel is a simple add-on to the Go:Scan app. During the scan it will automatically:
- identify the ovary, corpus luteum and follicle on an ultrasound image,
- highlight and label them in color on your tablet or BUG:Go screen, and take, and
- display precise measurements — to the nearest millimeter.

Heavy machinery remote engine start and stop device
Bobcat Co.’s Machine IQ Remote Engine Disable/Enable technology functions with select Bobcat compact track loaders, skid-steer loaders, compact excavator, compact wheel loader and Toolcat™ utility work machine models.
Equipment owners for models that do not have factory-installed telematics hardware can purchase an aftermarket kit through their local dealer.
The Remote Engine Disable/Enable feature allows customers in North America and Europe to remotely disable and enable their machine’s engine through the Owner Portal or Machine IQ app.
With Remote Engine Disable/Enable, owners and operators can disable their equipment’s engine with a few clicks, deterring theft and aiding in quick machine recovery. This feature is also valuable for rental businesses, enabling dealer owners to remotely stop equipment if rental agreement terms are not met.
If unauthorized use is suspected, owners can log into their Bobcat Owner Portal or Machine IQ app to pinpoint the location of their equipment and choose to disable the engine. Upon executing the disable command, any attempt to start an engine in an off state will fail. If the machine is in operation, the engine will shift into de-rate mode.

Bovine castration and elastration helper tool
Square Key Farm TestiGrip® Bovine Castration Tool is a product to help livestock operators with proper castration. TestiGrip was developed to help hold the testes in place so there is no slipping or loss of testes while castrating when using an elastrator.
The TestiGrip allows for faster application of the band. Users won’t be fumbling to hold on to the testes and have free hands to use the elastrator. There is a lot of pressure to have speed and accuracy when there is a protective cow wanting her baby back.
Bring both testes into the scrotum. Apply TestiGrip by sliding the narrow opening on the neck of the scrotum. Place the elastrator tightly against TestiGrip. Pull both testes up through the band. Release the band and remove TestiGrip.

The preference is to castrate the calves lying down, but TestiGrip will work with calves standing, too. It is designed for calves 2 weeks and younger.

Virtual fencing fully available to North American ranchers
Gallagher, a global leader in animal management solutions, announces its official North American eShepherd™ virtual fencing launch. The company first brought this technology to North America in early 2024, piloting it with producers.
eShepherd creates virtual boundaries for grazing livestock. Equipped with a solar-powered neckband, animals are guided within designated areas through auditory cues and a pulse. Producers create and monitor livestock boundaries remotely via a web and smartphone app, enabling more precise management of grazing patterns and improved pasture utilization.
The eShepherd system supports rotational grazing, helping producers maximize pasture regeneration and reduce overgrazing.
Additionally, programs are available for producers wanting to jump-start their virtual fencing management plan. Explore opportunities with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and more.
