(It’s available by subscription to other profit-minded cattlemen.) The Angus Beef Bulletin EXTRA, an electronic supplement to the magazine, provides additional content to your inbox twice a month, year-round. For those on the go who like to listen to their news, the Angus At Work podcast provides news and information on health, nutrition, genetics, marketing and management.

Shauna Hermel
Growing up Angus on a farm in Northeast Missouri gave Editor Shauna Hermel a passion for protecting the cattle, the people and the way of life. Since joining the staff in 1997, she has focused on providing those in the Angus community the information they need to thrive, balancing a keen interest in research and new technologies with cow savvy and an eye on practical application.

With nearly a decade of diverse marketing and communications experience, Lynsey rejoined the Angus Media team in late 2023 having previously worked as the Angus Journal editorial intern 10 years prior. Growing up on a forage and beef cattle operation, Lynsey is committed to sharing the stories of producers and industry partners while using writing to provide commercial cattlemen with information to drive positive change.

Heather brought her North Western Missouri State University degree and attention to detail to Angus Media in 2018 and has been the watchful eyes on almost all Angus Journal and Angus Beef Bulletin articles since. Heather and her family operate a diversified farm and livestock operation, so she enjoys being part of the editorial teams that deliver information to families like hers.

Leann Schleicher
Her grandparent’s involvement in raising Angus cattle greatly influenced Leann, instilling a deep connection to their lifestyle. Though she never had the opportunity to experience farm life firsthand, she is grateful to live out her agricultural aspirations through her employment at Angus Media. Beginning her journey by working on sale books, she now contributes to the production of the Angus Beef Bulletin.

Kimberly Wilson
Kimberly grew up on a family farm in Kentucky, where she was actively involved in agriculture and livestock showing. She earned a Master’s degree in Animal Science, specializing in beef cattle health and nutrition, from the University of Arkansas after completing her undergraduate studies at Morehead State University. Kimberly's career began as an Agriculture Extension Agent for the University of Kentucky, and she later worked in Product Management for Animal Safety at Neogen. She has been deeply involved in agriculture events and organizations throughout her career.
