AMERICAN ANGUS ASSOCIATION - THE BUSINESS BREED

The American Angus Association’s Events and Junior Activities Department maintains a list of individuals who have experience in evaluating livestock. To be placed on this list, this nomination form must be completed and sent to the Events and Junior Activities Department to be reviewed by the Activities Committee. This can be done by emailing the form to events@angus.org or mailing the form to:
American Angus Association:

Attn: Events and Junior Activities Department

3201 Frederick Ave.

Saint Joseph, MO 64506

The Activities Committee reserves the right to not approve a nomination and remove an individual on the list.

Each year, in late summer, the Activities Committee members review the list along with submitted applications for consideration. The compiled list of judges is distributed to Roll of Victory Shows to use for submitting their top three nominations (in no particular order) to the Events and Junior Activities Department by February 1. During the February meeting, the Activities Committee ranks the judges submitted from Roll of Victory Shows. The National Junior Angus Show committee will submit names (in no particular order) to be used for owned, bred-and-owned and steers. The Activities Committee reserves the right to appoint a judge not submitted by the show or show committee.

Any questions or comments can be directed to the Activities Committee or the Director of Events and Junior Activities at events@angus.org.
