Junior Angus Winners Named at 2024 North American

Angus enthusiasts gathered at the 2024 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Junior Angus Heifer Show, Nov. 17 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Junior Angus exhibitors led 209 entries at the 2024 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Junior Angus Heifer Show, Nov. 17 in Louisville, Ky. Brett Barber, Channing, Texas, evaluated the females before naming champions.

Piper Cates, Modoc, Ind., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female. SSF Blackcap N123 is the November 2023 daughter of SSF On Point 4028. She first won senior calf champion – division 1. She also claimed senior calf champion – division 1.

Meyer LK Forever Lady 3106 won reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female. Alexis Koelling, Bowling Green, Mo., owns the March 2023 daughter of PVF Surveillance 4129. She first claimed junior champion – division 1.

Cambria Cook, Clovis, Calif., led the grand champion female. Conley DT Miss Lucy 3701 is a September 2023 daughter of Conley Lead The Way 00738 and first claimed senior calf champion – division 2. 

CK3 HAWK Sandy L37 claimed the reserve grand champion female. Harlee Henney, Angola, Ind., owns the March 2023 daughter of BNWZ Dignity 80 who first won junior champion – division 1.
