Junior Angus Winners Named at 2022 North American

            Junior Angus exhibitors led 207 entries at the 2022 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Junior Angus Heifer Show, Nov. 13 in Louisville, Ky. Travis Pembrook, Fairview, Okla., evaluated the 25 bred-and-owned females and 182 owned females before naming champions.

            Suter Clark, Gretna, Va., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female. Clarkboys Sandy 0180 is an October 2021 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838. She first won junior calf champion – division 2.

            Insight Maid M F A 2520 won reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female. Ethan Miller, Gaston, Ind., owns the September 2020 daughter of PVF Insight 0129. She first claimed senior champion.

Sara Sullivan, Dunlap, Iowa, led the grand champion owned female. BBR Blackbird 372J is a May 2021 daughter of Dameron First Class and first claimed intermediate champion.

            Dameron C-5 Enchantress 2110 claimed the reserve grand champion owned female. Houston Ferree, Sullivan, Ind., owns the January 2021 daughter of SCC SCH 24 Karat 838 who first won junior champion-division 2.
