AMERICAN ANGUS ASSOCIATION - THE BUSINESS BREED

Ed and Wilma Minix/Black Witch Farm Angus Youth Scholarship

The Ed and Wilma Minix/Black Witch Farm Angus Youth Scholarship and Activities Endowment Fund was established in 2014, with an $100,000 investment through the Angus Foundation. This scholarship is in honor of Wilma and her late husband, Ed Minix. The fund will generate an annual $2,500 scholarship, and the balance of the annual investment earnings will be used for youth activities, such as Raising the Bar and the Leaders Engaged in Angus Development (LEAD) Conference. To award the first scholarship in 2014 Wilma gave an additional $2,500. Wilma says she loves the young juniors in the Association, and enjoys watching them grow into leaders. She says its something she hold close to her heart.
